Our Story

Daniel's connection to the jewellery industry spans more than 50 years. He began his career as a trained jeweller, learning the craft in his family's wholesale jewellery manufacturing business — giving him a foundation that very few diamond specialists can claim.

He travelled to America to study at the Gemological Institute of America — GIA — the world's foremost authority on diamonds and gemstones. He returned to Australia in 1980 qualified not only in diamonds, but as a fully trained gemologist with a deep understanding of coloured gemstones and precious stones of every kind. It is a breadth of knowledge that sets him apart from specialists who know diamonds alone.

What followed was decades of building expertise across every level of the trade: a diamond grading laboratory and jewellery valuation business, wholesale jewellery, supplying tools and equipment to the industry, a retail jewellery shop, and manufacturing custom pieces for private clientele. Through every chapter, one thing remained constant — an uncompromising standard for quality and an intimate knowledge of what makes a truly exceptional stone, whether a diamond, a sapphire, an emerald, or a ruby.
